Summary: Photoprint copies of stereographs from various collections and donations are gathered into this collection and arranged by photographer. The images are found elsewhere in the collections and a finding guide provides locater information. These copy prints allow the researcher to access the stereographs easily as a format and as a collection of certain photographers work. Images depict a wide selection of subjects, places and scenes including views of the Powell and Wheeler Geological Surveys, Carleton Watkin's 1880 visit to Southern Arizona, and images by Tucson photographer Henry Buehman. Photographers included in the collection are E. O. Beaman, William A. Bell, Henry Buehman, J. C. Burge, James Fennimore, Dudley P. Flanders, Camillus Fly, H.A. Hackett, John K. Hillers, Olaf P. Larson, Daniel F. Mitchell, Timothy O'Sullivan, John M. Phillips, George Rothrock, Charles R. Savage, Carleton Watkins, and William Williscraft. There are also images from publishers Continent Stereoscopic Company, Keystone View Company, and Underwood and Underwood as well as images from outside Arizona.
